The CU-KU International Symposium in Education, hosted by the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, and co-hosted by the Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University, represents a groundbreaking collaboration between these two prestigious institutions. Launching in 2025, the symposium is themed "Inclusive Society," aiming to advance interdisciplinary discourse and innovation to promote inclusivity across multiple dimensions of society—education, social development, technology, policy, and community engagement.
This theme underscores the commitment of both universities to addressing the multifaceted challenges of inclusivity in modern societies. By broadening the focus beyond education, the symposium seeks to examine how inclusive principles can be applied across diverse social domains to create environments that embrace equity, accessibility, and shared prosperity for all individuals.
While a central focus remains on curriculum and instruction, particularly through Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive educational practices, the event also explores inclusivity in broader societal contexts. Participants will engage in discussions about policies, technologies, and community-driven initiatives that foster inclusion in healthcare, labor markets, urban planning, and cultural representation.
The symposium provides a platform for educators, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders to share innovative approaches that address the needs of diverse populations, including marginalized groups, persons with disabilities, and individuals from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. Sessions will highlight interdisciplinary practices to create advancing education, research, an innovation in related field including:

Aligned with regional and global priorities, including the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities)—the symposium aims to foster systemic collaboration across academic, governmental, and non-governmental sectors.
This inaugural event aspires to establish a vibrant, interdisciplinary network that catalyzes impactful research and practical solutions for creating an inclusive society. Through joint efforts, the symposium envisions fostering academic excellence and social transformation, empowering participants to develop sustainable policies, equitable practices, and inclusive innovations that advance societal well-being across diverse dimensions.
